Surveillance Investigations in Arkansas

Put ALPS Surveillance Investigators to Work for You

There are a variety of investigation techniques to substantiate claims of infidelity, employee theft and workman compensation fraud, but surveillance is one of the most effective. It is hard to deny an indiscretion when caught on video. Our investigators use state of the art technology to conduct video surveillance. Our private investigators are not confined to just stationary video. Using body worn cameras, the private investigator can follow a person into stores, restaurants, offices, etc. to constantly get evidence of their activities. If you are unsure about the type of investigation you need, please call (501) 215-9903 for a free initial consultation.

Our private investigator will provide a thorough investigation and supply you with video or photographic evidence, when available, to assist you in taking the appropriate steps to resolve the issue. You will be able to get regular updates about the status of the investigation and given the choice of how long to continue the investigation. Every case and client is unique, requiring individual attention to detail. We consider time, cost and complexity in each of our client's investigation issues and use only those resources that are necessary to resolve their case. We understand that any investigation is difficult and guarantee to be discreet and confidential.

Surveillance Investigations may include, but are not limited to:

Physical Surveillance - This is when an investigator will follow a subject, document the activity and provide digital video or photographs when available. This is a typical investigation technique used in domestic and divorce cases, child custody, workers compensation cases or suspected insurance fraud claims. ALPS investigators can use many different techniques to gather information. The use of digital cameras, vehicle tracking devices, and body worn cameras are just a few of the tools that may be utilized during the investigation.

Electronic Surveillance - When physical surveillance cannot be conducted, our investigators may utilize specialized equipment to locate a vehicle and whereabouts of the subject in question. This may also be used for monitoring teenage drivers and documenting their activities while operating a vehicle.

Hidden Camera Surveillance - ALPS investigators have the capability to set up small hidden camera to video tape activity almost anywhere and transmit it wirelessl to a remote DVR. (This is ideal for monitoring child care providers, checking for elder care abuse or for suspected employee theft investigations.)

Typical uses for surveillance investigations may be:

  • Domestic surveillance, which may include nanny cams, security surveillance for your home, child custody investigations or any other case where the welfare of your family is involved.

  • Workers compensation investigations provide insight to the claimants activities during a course of time. By using audio, video, and other types of surveillance evidence can be obtained to determine whether a worker is really as injured as they claim. This may be used in conjunction with an interview conducted of colleagues, friends and family that may reveal how extensive the worker's injuries are or if they are concealing the extent of the injury.

  • Employee theft costs business millions of dollars each year. Property theft is not the only type of theft being committed by employees, time theft is just as costly for a business. An employee that is using company time for personal errands can be just as costly. If you suspect that your employee is stealing property or time from your business, call today for a consultation. Our investigators can assit you with finding a solution that is right for business.

  • Insurance fraud is the act of falsifying or exaggerating the facts of an accident to an insurance company to obtain payment that would not otherwise be made. Common types of insurance fraud are staged accidents, exaggerated injuries, and inflated medical bills. Surveillance can be effective in determining if a person is exaggerating an injury. Other evidence may be gathered by conducting interviews with colleagues, friends and family to reveal fraudulent claims. After speaking with you about your specific case, we can better determine which technique would be most effective to your situation.

Our investigators are experienced with conducting surveillance investigations. They have the skills and resources to expose evidence necessary to build cases.

Body Worn Video Cameras

Covert video
There are times that stationary video surveillance is not completely effective. If the subject being followed enters a business or other location where they are no longer visible to the investigator, it becomes necessary for the a body worn device to be utilized. Our investigators can discreetly continue videoing the subject while they go about their activity, such as shopping. Evidence obtained from this source of surveillance can be very beneficial to determine if an individual is truly doing what they claim. An example would be someone claiming a back injury, but goes into the local hardware store and lifts bags of concrete onto a pallet cart. This could be critical evidence in the determination of a substantiating an insurance claim. If an investigator is limited to stationary video, they would miss out on the video evidence.

Vehicle Tracking Devices

A passive GPS device can record all of the whereabouts of your child's car including the address of each destination, names of streets traveled, miles driven, how long the vehicle remained at each location and the speed of the driver. Investigators can use GPS tracking devices on company vehicles to track employee activity or by spouse that suspects infidelity. Data is logged over a period of time then retrieved and compiled into an easy to read report. This can be a useful source to help verify suspected activity that otherwise would be hard or impossible to obtain by any other means. Real time GPS tracking is also available for up to date information on vehicle travel. This gives our investigators the opportunity to quickly locate a subject and proceed with further surveillance.
